VandeBron is an innovative energy platform that helps consumers use energy smarter through for example dynamic pricing and flexible consumption, while connecting them to local renewable energy producers.

At VandeBron, I helped making sustainable energy more accessible by simplifying complex energy choices into intuitive digital experiences. 
As a Product Designer focused on acquisition and retention, I was responsible for optimizing the website and onboarding flows, directly impacting conversion rates and customer engagement. I worked end-to-end, from user research to final delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. By leveraging experiments and user insights, I continuously improved the overall user experience.


My daily activities included doing research, so for example conducting competitor analyses, setting up user-tests and A/B tests, analyzing Mopinion feedback and performing heuristic evaluations. Based on these insights, I collaborated extensively with the customer experience team, developers, product owners across departments and business stakeholders. I ensured that all design solutions were user-friendly, enhanced the customer experience and were aligned with business objectives.

For example I contributed by designing an interactive graph that allows customers to easily explore dynamic energy prices in real time. The goal of this tool is not only to provide transparency, but also to actively guide user behavior. By clearly highlighting the moments when energy is cheapest and most sustainably generated, we encourage customers to shift their consumption to these optimal periods. In this way, the feature helps users reduce costs while simultaneously supporting a more efficient and greener energy system.

Another example of the value I contributed at Vandebron is the redesign of the offer page within the sign-up flow. This update was driven by the need to introduce dynamic energy contracts, as well as to simplify and improve the overall structure of the page in line with evolving business requirements.

By combining insights from Mopinion feedback, customer research, stakeholder input and A/B testing, we were able to significantly enhance the user experience. The redesigned page is now much more scannable and intuitive, enabling customers to more easily understand their options and make informed decisions.
